Join Environment Victoria  on Wednesday 23 September to talk about how climate solutions can power an economic recovery for Victoria that’s clean and green and how you can get involved.

Last week, the Victorian government announced plans to tender for at least 600 megawatts of new clean energy projects. This means ALL Victorian schools, trains, hospitals and other government services will be powered by clean wind and solar, creating 1500 jobs across Victoria.  It’s a huge win for thousands of you who sent emails, made phone calls and took action to help make this happenIt’s also a great step towards the sustainable, fair and thriving Victoria for all that is at the heart of our Build Back Better recovery campaign.

We know clean energy can create jobs and a sustainable future.  Last week’s announcement was made possible by the sustained efforts of people like you, building connections with like-minded people and coming together at key moments.

Right now Victorians have a choice. Our economic recovery from COVID-19 can further entrench the status quo or it can put us on a path to a thriving, fair and sustainable Victoria.

Now we must keep the momentum going to create lasting change through community action.  Join our community call to connect with other active climate champions and discuss our next steps for a more sustainable future. In this webinar our campaigners will brief you on our climate-focused recovery solutions and the collective action you can take to promote them.
