The BEAM bulk food scheme continues to grow, and the final order for this year is now open. We look forward to welcoming new people!
Why get involved?
Completing the order form may look daunting. But putting the time in is worth it: you’ll save shopping time over the next three months and might even avoid facing the supermarkets before Christmas! Those who have been using the scheme for over a year now agree that breaking up with the supermarket has been a revelation – more time for the more pleasant things in life!
Dividing Up Day
We have had many requests to have weekend dividing up days- this is the day when we get together to divide the bulk order into everyone’s individual orders. This will be our first trial of a Saturday divide up (November 29th). We would like to prioritise people who’ve been previously unable to get involved in this process- so please let us know ASAP if you’ll be coming along to help.
Phone orders now being taken
Excel spreadsheets are not for everyone. So now you can downloaad a pdf copy of the list and phone in your orders to the Administrator before the due date. This will incur a 15% levy due to the extra work required.
Open Day- An opportunity to see how it works and check out the products
We are opening up the next BEAM Bulk Foods Dividing Up Day to anyone who is interested in learning more about the scheme. This is your chance to check out the products, talk to other people about their experiences and ask those niggling questions. Saturday 29th November, 10am- 12pm.
How to access the BEAM Bulk Food Scheme
You can access the bulk food scheme if you’re a BEAM member, or you can register as a volunteer by completing a simple form- this ensures you are covered by our public and product liability insurance.
More information and a copy of the order form are on the BEAM website. Please complete your order by MIDNIGHT Monday 10th November. Dividing up/pick up day is Saturday 29th November.
To place an order please contact the BEAM Bulk Food Scheme Administrator, Cynthia Lim on Cynthia@bluetongueberries.com.au or 0403 831 520.
