BEAM members Anna Clabburn, Dylan Thornton and Richard Telford were recognised for their contribution in establishing the new signage for the Hughes Creek Nature Trail in Avenel at the Goulburn Broken Natural Resource Management Awards last week.

Avenel Primary School was awarded the Community Education Prize for the two signage boards at Stewart Park. The boards tell the history of the area along with the impacts of European settlement.
