LET’S CLEAN UP OLD SYDNEY ROAD, WALLAN
SUNDAY 1st MARCH 2026 - from 10am to 12 noon
Come along to join Wallan Environment Group on Clean Up Australia Day to clean up the roadside of Old Sydney Road, between its intersections with Darraweit Road and Stockdale Road. Meet at: "Walladarra" 1395 Old Sydney Road, Wallan ( Map link https://maps.app.goo.gl/X96cUznyuHLB62Kx5 ) - meet at the house to complete the event attendance sheet and for a briefing at 10am.

A light lunch will be provided after the cleanup is completed at 12 noon.
Old Sydney Road has high conservation values with areas of significant local flora, including many wildflowers in spring. See https://www.beam.org.au/naturaltreasures/old-sydney-road-wildflower-area Unfortunately, it's also a quiet semi-rural roadside where lots of rubbish gets dumped.
