EARTHCHAT: Keeping hope alive

As someone who cares about the environment, the impact of climate change, or other social justice issues, it is easy to be overwhelmed, to feel despair and burnout. How can we rediscover purpose, energy and strength for the journey? This week on EarthChat, we will be talking to Josh Glover on this topic.

Josh is a facilitator and community worker passionate about people and communities. Over the last few years, he has found himself in several different values led organisations working on causes that stoke a fire in his belly. He has facilitated workshops with over 5000 people, primarily on healthy masculinities, inclusion and nature connection.

His work with the Gembrook Retreat draws on the work of Joanna Macy, Active Hope and The Work that Reconnects. His first experience of this was profound, transforming hopelessness into passion and inspiring him to speak and act for a non-human world in crisis.

Join the conversation between Tim Budge, Ruth Yeatman and Josh on EarthChat, Friday 16th February at 10am on Seymour FM, repeated at 8am on Saturday. It should be interesting and inspiring.
