Hughes Creek Catchment Collaborative invites you to a workshop on ‘Managing Soil Health’ with renowned agroecologist David Hardwick, from Soil Land Food.
When: Friday the 1st of July, from 9:30 am to 3 pm

In this workshop you'll learn about:
- what is soil health and why it’s so important;
- soil health issues: compaction, pH, soil salinity, organic matter, sodicity, soil biology;
- identifying soil constraints;
- assessing soil health in the paddock and using a soil test;
- soil health options: planned grazing, cover crops min-till, biologicals and compost.
Please bring BYO lunch and wear appropriate gear (work boots, gloves and wet weather gear). Biosecurity measures will be in place for this event.
