8 & 9 April 2022: Missed the show? Listen back to the podcast here.

Following our conversation with Pat Simons a month ago about the big off-shore windfarms off the Gippsland coast, this week on EarthChat we look at some smaller businesses embracing the renewables transition.

Luke Wilkinson from Sustainability Victoria joins Peter Lockyer to share the very local transition. Luke is the Manager of Regional Engagement, and Regions and Partners, and he will give some insight into the Earthworker Co-Op in Morwell, Solar Street Lights in Yinnar (Latrobe Valley) and the engagement of former power workers involved in the transition.

Sustainability Victoria is also engaged with plastic recycling. We will look at some developments in this field- the State Government makes noises about the circular economy, but where are we up to.

EarthChat on 103.9 Seymour FM on Friday at 10am, repeated on Saturday at 8am.
