EARTHCHAT: The Problem of Plastics

This Tuesday 26th August on EarthChat at noon on Seymour FM!

We will be discussing the intractable problem of  plastic waste. The failure to achieve meaningful change during the recent Global Plastics Treaty leaves us without answers as to how to tackle this ongoing problem.

We will look at the need to significantly move away from  plastic production and find alternatives. We will discuss the health and ecological risks of micro plastics and the huge backlog of plastic waste in the environment
