We will be discussing the many job opportunities opening up in Australia in the renewable
energy sector. Australia has extensive opportunities to develop our workforce in areas like
mining silicon and rare earths used in batteries.
Instead of simply digging up and exporting, we have a huge opportunity to value add these minerals. We could be building more of our own wind towers and manufacturing and exporting solar panels. With a bit of imagination and investment there are potentially many jobs for those exiting coal mining and like industries.
