On EarthChat this week we will be interviewing Bob Glindermann who has been running a Rotary program called “Donations in Kind” which sources surplus goods from Australia and sends them overseas to needy countries. A central co-ordination committee stores, packs and dispatches the goods.

It is always important to establish contact with recipients to confirm that the donations are

appropriate and that there is a plan to dispatch goods to their final recipients.

As the cost of shipping is considerable donations towards meeting this expense is welcome.

Tune in to BEAM's radio program EarthChat each Friday on Seymour FM at 10am or to the repeat on Saturday at 8am.
