BEAM pledges support for Treaty

BEAM Mitchell Environment Group members understand the importance of supporting Traditional Owners and their vision of a better shared future for all Victorians. It is a big part of BEAM's work and our efforts to build an ongoing relationship with Taungurung and Wurundjeri and other First Nations people in the Shire and the wider region.

As part of that commitment, we have developed an organisational pledge and a commitment to be one of a growing number of "Friends of Treaty".

The pledge is here and includes commitments to"educate, advocate, activate and collaborate" to support First Nations people and to encourage other groups and individuals to get similarly involved in supportive action.
