Submission: Mitchell Shire Council budget and capital works program

BEAM Mitchell Environment Group provided this submission (PDF) to the Mitchell Shire Council call for feedback on its 4 Year Budget and 10 Year Capital Works Program 26/27.

Our submission urges Council’s budget prioritisation of measures that underpin a healthy local environment and enhance the community’s engagement with, and responsibility for, our environment. We respond to budget priorities, capital works program, and future pipeline priorities of Council, and suggest a range of ideas and initiatives to support a thriving local community and environment.
