EARTHCHAT: Who is Tim Budge?

Updated: Oct 1, 2023

Tim Budge joins EarthChat for a yarn, and a sharing of his deeper interests in our region. Tim has been on the BEAM Committee for nearly a year. He and his partner have shifted to the country, to High Camp at Pyalong, and just moved into a newly built energy smart home. Tim drives into EarthChat in his Electric Vehicle, and now keen to become one of the EarthChat hosts.

Tim has been a secondary teacher, community development and international development worker, including 7 years with Meredith in Timor-Leste and Zambia. Recently retired, Tim’s passion remains focused on supporting community building and social movements, particularly is fostering responses to the climate crisis.

But who is Tim Budge, and what makes him tick? What's the appeal of Pyalong after inner Melbourne?

Join Tim Budge with host Peter Lockyer on EarthChat this Friday at 10am. There's always good material to chew over, and EarthChat is a good start to anyone’s weekend.

Tune in to BEAM's radio program EarthChat each Friday on Seymour FM at 10am, repeated at 8am Saturday, and return to this page for a link to the podcast after the program.
