This week Marie Gerrard will be interviewing Sonia Sharkey about the tree planting event co-ordinated by Glenaroua Land Management in June this year. Several organisation including Rotary clubs of Manningham and Southern Mitchell, Scouts groups, Landcare members and Pajero 4WD Cubs combined to plant 3,500 carefully selected local native plants. This event has now been going for 23 years.

We will also discuss the important role in nature of restoring local habitat, the selection and production of suitable plants, and a number of current projects of Landcare.
