Did you know that cats kill more than a million Australian birds every day! And More than 1,800 plant and animal species and ecological communities are at risk of extinction right now. Along with many other species, soon to be listed as a threatened species is the Platypus!

Join Ruth and special guest, wildlife rescuer, Tania Begg who will fill us in on what’s involved with rescue, rehabilitation, and release back into the wild of injured native animals. Tania will tell us what we need to know when we come across an injured animal, where do we take them, and how to do this with great care to minimise their fear and injury. Plus many other useful tips for looking out for native animals in our backyards and beyond.
